Habitat for Humanity/7 Rivers Maine houses are sold with no profit made. Homeowners contribute "sweat equity" and house payments are recycled to build additional houses.
About Us

The 2010 Weatherization Program will begin this fall with the goal of completing Step-One Weatherization for 150 homes in our service area. Homeowners who are LIHEAP eligible are most likely eligible for this program. Habitat’s Step-One Weatherization will help low-income homeowners to air-seal their homes using volunteer labor with the goal of creating a more energy efficient housing envelope. This will lead to savings on energy bills and offer further comfort in the home, thus improving the health and safety of the homeowners and the energy efficiency of their homes. Click here for more information about the program and eligibility requirements.

Householders: We are now accepting applications from homeowners and renters with written permission from thier landlords. To learn more about applying for weatherization, call Ryan Collins at (207) 386-5081 or complete the online interest form and Ryan will contact you.
